A Monthly Look Inside Aravilla Clearwater
Happy New Year!
Out with the old, in with the new! It’s time to embrace the upcoming year brimming with fresh activities, exciting performers, and so much more! Last year was truly special, filled with unforgettable events ending with our Annual Holiday Party which was a huge success! We look forward to gathering again this year for a variety of holidays and celebrations. We are incredibly thankful for our Aravilla Family and couldn’t ask for a more supportive community within our building.
To stay updated on this year’s activities and events, be sure to check our monthly calendars. As always, we will host Aravilla Adventures every Tuesday and Thursday. We warmly invite families and friends to sign up with the activities department for these bus trips, as we cherish sharing these unforgettable experiences together.

Christmas Carol Performance!
We want to thank everyone who came to participate in our Christmas Carol Performance last month. With a full house, our residents were successfully able to perform for their loved ones by singing Christmas songs that warmed hearts and spread festive cheer. The atmosphere was filled not only with the beautiful melodies of grace but with laughter and joy, making it a truly memorable evening for everyone involved.
Following our enchanting production, we hosted a lovely cookie party. The sweet aroma of baked goods filled the air as attendees celebrated the cheerful spirit of Christmas. The cookie party served as a wonderful opportunity for our residents, their families and guests to gather, share stories and enjoy delightful treats. We want to express our utmost gratitude to everyone who brought cookies from home!
Santas Helpers at Aravilla Clearwater!
We would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the contributions of our Santa Helpers from McMullen Booth Elementary School, located in close proximity. Last month, these Kindergarten students visited our community to perform Christmas carols for our residents. Their enchanting presence left our audience both astonished and captivated, as these young Santa Helpers spread joy and elicited beaming smiles throughout our community. These kiddos frequently visit our community, particularly on occasions such as Valentine’s Day, Thanksgiving, Halloween, and Christmas. We encourage you to keep an eye out for their next appearance in our community. Their joyful smiles and affection for our senior residents are truly delightful, and their presence is certain to brighten your day!

Resident Spotlight “Bonnie S.”
We would like to take this opportunity to extend a warm welcome to Bonnie S. as she joins our Aravilla family. Born in Gary, Indiana, Bonnie completed her education at Tolleston High School in 1957. A decade later, she relocated to Florida. For over ten years, she contributed her efforts to the family operated Lake Tarpon Marina. Following this, Bonnie dedicated 25 years of her career to the Pinellas County Tax Collector’s office before retiring. She is the proud mother of four children—two sons and two daughters—who have since started families of their own, making her a delighted grandmother to three and a great grandmother to two, with another great-grandchild on the way!
Bonnie enjoys a variety of hobbies including baking, golfing, bowling and playing dominoes and bingo; however, her greatest passion lies in Bible study. She has been actively involved with the Palm Harbor United Methodist Church. Interesting Fact: Bonnie was a member of the wives’ club associated with a clay shooting sport known as “Equestria.” This involvement afforded her the opportunity to travel extensively throughout South America, where she actively engaged in rifle shooting competitions. When you encounter Bonnie, please take a moment to greet her. Her radiant smile is certain to enhance your day!
