A Monthly Look Inside Aravilla Clearwater
Thanksgiving Day!
Wishing you a joyful Thanksgiving! Aravilla Clearwater cordially invites all families and friends to a special Thanksgiving lunch on November 28th from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The event will take place in the dining rooms, with additional seating available in the Promenade. To confirm your attendance, please sign up on the sheet at the front desk with the receptionist or call 727.260.2826 to RSVP.
Following our Thanksgiving lunch, live music featuring Louie B. will be performed in the Promenade at 3 PM. We look forward to celebrating this special occasion with you and encourage you to stay tuned for our Annual Christmas party next month!

Aravilla Adventures
As the temperatures start to drop, we will resume our outdoor bus excursions. We have eagerly anticipated this cooler weather, and it has finally arrived. Our adventures will take us to nature parks, piers and various other destinations. Aravilla Adventures are scheduled for every Tuesday and Thursday at 1:45 PM. A timetable has been established to guarantee that everyone has the opportunity to join our group and partake in an enjoyable outing. Families and friends are invited to participate by registering with the Activities Department. There is no experience quite like sharing an Aravilla Adventure with your loved ones while discovering the beauty of the outdoors.
Art Therapy
This month at Aravilla Clearwater, we will engage in various creative and artistic endeavors. Art therapy is a form of expressive therapy that utilizes the creative process to improve the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of individuals. Our arts and crafts sessions take place every Thursday at 1:45 PM in the Promenade. This activity provides a therapeutic experience that alleviates stress while enhancing mood and self-esteem. Residents have an opportunity to tap into their creativity and really express themselves. Once their artistic creations are completed, we showcase them in the Café area for all to appreciate. This month, our emphasis will be on festive crafts, including pumpkin decorating and turkey making, among others. Be sure to check out our calendar to ensure you do not miss this month’s Arts & Crafts sessions.

Resident Spotlight “Claudia R.”
We would like to take a moment to acknowledge Claudia R. as a valued member of our Aravilla family. Born in 1947 in Janesville, Wisconsin, Claudia relocated to Florida at the age of 16 and graduated from Riverview High School in Sarasota in 1965. She later obtained an Associate Degree in Arts from Manatee Jr. College, where she met her husband, Charles, with whom she has shared 56 years of marriage. Together, they have two daughters, seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Claudia has a passion for the outdoors and possesses a vibrant personality, consistently going the extra mile for others. She enjoyed volunteering by participating with Meals on Wheels and engaging with her church community. Claudia also loved to travel. She and her husband own a home in North Carolina where they enjoyed bi-annual getaways filled with activities like hiking and exploring waterfalls. Their travels have taken them on numerous cruises and trips across the United States, with a standout experience being their private tour in Italy. Be sure to greet Claudia when you see her. Her cheerful smile and love for music are sure to brighten your day!
