Trick or Treat
Happy Halloween! It’s that time of year again. The time where our neighbors from McMullen Booth Elementary School visit Aravilla! On October 25th at 10am, we will have students ranging from PreK to VPK in Halloween costumes visiting our community. Our residents will get to sit and enjoy the show while distributing candy to all of the children. McMullen Booth Elementary students have been so very kind to visit our community for different occasions every year. To witness the joy our residents experience when they see young children brings pure happiness to everyone’s heart. Don’t miss out on this month’s visit!
Halloween Door Decorating Contest
This year here at Aravilla Clearwater we will be hosting our very first door/porch decorating contest with the theme of Halloween. We are asking that all families and friends get involved and participate for this fun & exciting activity. On October 31st, during our fall festival, we plan on announcing our winner for this year’s door decorating contest. This means you have 31 days to get creative and to think outside the box! Keep in mind some residents use walkers or wheelchairs. Please do not use anything that can be a trip hazardous such as webbing or ribbon on or near the floor. We are so excited to see what our community can think of and we hope to see you all at our Spooky Fall Festival!

Resident Spotlight “Marilyn C.”
We want to take a moment to recognize Molly B. as a part of our Aravilla family! Molly was born in Troy, Ohio in 1944. She graduated from Troy High School in 1962. In 1966, she earned her Bachelor’s degree of Education from Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Shortly after, Molly got married and moved to South Bend, Indiana and started teaching second grade. Molly has two children, Mark and Matthew, who now have kids of their own, making her a very proud grandmother of two. After being a homemaker for several years, Molly went back to work at a junior high school for some time but retired from the State of Indiana after 25 years. She moved to Florida several years ago to be closer to her family, which includes her sister and son Matthew. Molly enjoys the great outdoors! Her favorite hobbies include walking and running. She also enjoys arts & crafts. Molly enjoyed horseback riding back in her high school years. She also really enjoyed role playing in school plays. Be sure to greet Molly when you see her. You can’t miss her happy smile wherever you cross her path! She is always present at our activities and enjoys a challenge.
